The team was led by head coach Louis Schroeder and team captain Frank Moses. The team finished the season with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. The only loss of the season came against Holy Cross, with the final score being 71 to 55. Interest in the sport increased in 1916 and continued to grow at the college. Schroeder coached the team for one more season before Paul Otto took over from 1920 until 1924. The team only had 4 other coaches following Otto. The team was coached by Jack Rothacher, followed by Les Judd and Vern Cox. Ken Klatka took over the team in 1977
