Construction began on the Administration Building the last week in April of 1895 and the corner stone of the building was laid on May 10, 1895. On September 22, 1926, the cornerstone of the Alumni Hall, the new men’s dormitory, was laid. Just one year after the cornerstone was laid, Alumni Hall was completed. Finally, excavation for Marsh Memorial began on May 25, 1912. The cornerstone was laid by President Laurence Locke Doggett on June 12, 1912 and construction began on September 1, 1912.
